Okay. I have to make a paragraph 5 of the swastika. How does this sound so far? All suggestions are apperciated! The word Swastika comes from the word Sanskirt which means "being. This symbol represents positive things like the sun, power, strengh, and 3,000 years ago, even good luck. The swastika was also used as decorations for cards, coins, and buildings. Coins found that date to 1000 BC show that the swastika was a symbol commonly used. Different cultures use the swastika, and nearly every culture had a name difference to him. It was not until 1920 that the swastika was a sign of hatred, death and violence. In 1920, Adolf Hitler thought that the Nazi Party needed its own new flag. Hitler chose the swastika as the new flag, because I wanted something that people are already familiar. Soon, the meaning of the swastika changed from positive behing be all about violence, death and hatred.
